OpenReadr

OpenReadr is a self-hosted RSS reader designed around three ideas: keep up with feeds without giving up your privacy, get notified when something specific you care about appears, and own your data.

What it does

  • Subscribes to RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds you provide.
  • Full-text search via SQLite FTS5 — fast and offline.
  • Alerts based on saved queries, delivered via email, webhook, or in-app.
  • Tags (manual) and auto-labels (query-driven) to organise articles your way.
  • Two-factor authentication, password reset, audit logging.
  • Bring-your-own LLM (Anthropic or OpenAI) for optional summaries — fully optional and disabled by default.
